During the past 10 years, Amber has worked in two hospitals; Stratford General and Henderson General (ICU) in Hamilton. She has also provided physiotherapy care to patients in the community as well as working at private clinics. With her keen interest in women's health issues, Amber had the opportunity to be on staff at the new Maternity Centre in Hamilton, teaching women how to prepare for childbirth. As an additional service, Amber provides group lessons to women through the Restoring Your CoreTM program, in which she is a certified instructor. Amber is also an authorizer with the Assistant Devices Program of Ontario. Through this government funded program, Amber can assess clients who require walkers. Amber is married and has two children, Natalya, age 10 and Alexander, age 7.

Amber Kosubovich attended McMaster University, where she obtained a
Bachelor of Science degree in 1992. She furthered her education and
attended the School of Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University where she graduated in 1996 with a
Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) degree.
